The Consulate General of India offers the complete range of Passport and Consular Services to the Indian nationals residing under its jurisdiction. It is our endeavour to render same day services to all applicants who apply for these services in person. In addition to working during weekdays, the Consulate also offers limited passport and consular services on Thursdays from 1400 - 1630 hours. This service is primarily meant for those applicants who are unable to visit the Consulate General on week days. The Consulate General also undertakes periodical visits to those outlying areas under its Consular Tours Jurisdiction which have a sizeable Indian population. At present Consular Tours for rendering Passport and Consular services are undertaken to Abha, Al-Baha, Bisha, Gizan, Madinah, Najran, Tabuk, Taif and Yanbu. These visits are widely publicised and all interested Indians living in these areas should avail themselves of this facility. However, no visa services are rendered during these tours. |

Your passport is an important document . It should be kept in a safe place either with yourself or with a person authorized by you. A photocopy of the passport especially of the pages giving personal details, Saudi visa stamp and entry into Saudi Arabia stamp, should invariably be kept with you and another copy with a friend or relative in Saudi Arabia. The date of expiry of your passport should be carefully noted down by you. It is in your interest to keep your passport valid at all times. The passport can be renewed upto one year before its expiry and within one year after its expiry. Whenever a service is required on the passport, it is preferable that you bring the passport yourself for the service. In most cases, the service is rendered on the same day. In cases that require reference to be made to the original Passport Issuing Office, the service is rendered on receipt of reply from the PIO. |
