         Accommodation allotment of all Pilgrims going through Haj Committee of India would be done by the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai.

        Since all the accommodation allotments are done from India, it would not be possible for any change in accommodation requests to be done after reaching Saudi Arabia.  Hence, it is requested that the Pilgrims should not approach Consulate General of India, Jeddah with any request for change in accommodation, as there would be no mechanism to change accommodation through Consulate General of India, Jeddah.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for temporary posts of  Data Entry Operators, Clerks, Drivers and Office Boys-cum-Cleaners for Haj season - 2008.

            Applications in the prescribed proforma along with copies of valid Iqama, passport, educational certificates and Driving License (for those applying for drivers’ posts) and no objection letters from sponsors should reach Haj Section, Consulate General of India, P.O.Box.No. 952, Jeddah-21421 latest by 01.08.2008.  The prescribed proforma can be obtained from the Haj Information Desks at our offices in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah or down loaded from our website http://www.cgijeddah.com/cgijed/haj/contacts.HTM Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University and  conversant with Arabic language in addition to one Indian language will be given preference for the post of clerks.    Those applying for the post of Data Entry Operator should also possess a diploma/certificate in Computer applications from a recognized University/Institution and at least a year’s exper/ience as Data Entry Operator.  For the posts located in Makkah and Madinah, candidates resident there will be given preference.

Photocopies of Passport, Iqama,  Educational Certificates, No objection letter from the sponsor (In original) along with two recent passport size photographs should be attached with the application.  Applications without the required enclosures are liable to be rejected.

 All the rightful legal title holders of residential buildings in Makkah including Muttawiffin, Landlords, Lessors, recognized Building Renting Groups etc., who are willing to rent their buildings to Indian Haj Mission for accommodation of Haj pilgrims of Haj 1429 H- 2008 in Azizia area are hereby informed that the rates for Azizia category have since been revised to SR 1,900-2,100  inclusive of service charges and transportation.
